Lemont Township Residents may rent a party room at our spacious and newly renovated Community Center!

 The Lemont Township Community Center, located at 16300 Alba Street, has two rooms available for rent by Lemont Township residents. Modern decor, natural light, expansive views of the Woodland Sanctuary and conveniently located by I-355. Scroll down to the FAQ section on this page for some commonly asked questions about renting space at our township facility. Our two rental spaces are township maintained and operated. The main banquet hall is 4,200 SF with modern and simple décor.  You can seat up to 125 for a sit-down dinner reception in this space. The smaller township board room is 875 SF and includes a customizable conference room table to accommodate meeting sizes of 10 to 35 people. Exposed limestone brick with picture windows and matte black painted ductwork in the ceiling gives this room a clean modern feel. Conference speaker phone is available upon request.

The township also has two outdoor gathering spaces. One is connected to the banquet hall (included with your rental). The cement patio is 1,050 SF and can be used for outdoor seating and entertainment. Our outdoor fireplace area includes stone theater seating for up to 20 people. This space has been used as an outdoor classroom and ceremony space during spring and summer months (this area is separate rental agreement).

How much does it cost to rent a room?

Our large banquet hall cost is $150 per hour with a 4-hour minimum plus a $100 Cleaning Fee (30-60 guests) $200 Cleaning Fee (70-130 guests)

Our smaller board room cost is $100 per hour with a 2-hour minimum plus a $65 cleaning fee.

You are also required to purchase special event liability insurance to host your party or meeting.

To reserve your date, you will need to come in-person to Lemont Township Community Center, located at 16300 Alba Street, and submit your completed rental agreement along with a 50% deposit to hold a date on our event calendar.

We accept cash payment or peronal check. In addition, we can accept a credit card payment with a 3% convenience fee added.

Our large banquet hall can fit between 125-130 people seated for dinner. Maximum of 200 for a cocktail reception.

Our smaller board room can fit 16-20 people seated for a conference or meeting. Maximum of 40 for a cocktail reception.

Use of our commercial kitchen is included when you rent out the large banquet hall. You will have access to a stove and refrigerator to prepare/store food, appetizers, or desserts during your event.

During seasonal weather, there is also a patio connected to the large hall. This can be used as added seating for your guests (weather permitting and we do allow tent rentals for certain gatherings). 

Free Internet/Wi-Fi in both meeting spaces. Also, the rooms have basic Comcast cable TV channels available upon request.

An 8 ft self-serve cooling table for beverages or salad bar is available for a small rental fee. ($25.00)

Our audio system and video projector is available for a small rental fee. ($50.00)

A big part of planning your family or business group event is seeing the space and deciding how the room will look during your event.  Table layout, food and beverage placement, and decor should be considered as part of your planning.

You are welcome to do a site visit by making an appointment with our Events Manager. Generally, our rooms are available for viewing after 1:30pm Monday through Friday and based on open availablity on the weekends.
