- PACE DIAL-A-RIDE
The Township sponsors a curb-to-curb bus service within Lemont Township boundaries. The Pace Bus operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (last appointment taken 3:30pm).
Advanced reservations are required for all riders and can be scheduled by calling Transportation at 630-754-8901
Rates: Seniors $1 per stop / Adults & children 8 and up $2 per stop. Children 7 and younger ride free & must be accompanied by an adult/senior. CASH ONLY /Exact Fare Amount (DAR drivers do not provide change.)
*Passengers requiring assistance (wheelchairs, etc.) must have a companion to accompany them. (No charge)*
Although we try to accommodate every request, there will be times it is not always possible.
- PACE VANPOOL PROGRAM
Medical Transportation
Lemont Township also operates a transportation service which provides non-emergency transportation for Township residents to medical appointments that are located outside of Lemont Township. Vanpool is a curb-to-curb service and operates Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm via volunteers.

*Max 40 miles round trip* We accept Cash (preferred) or check payable to Lemont Township. (Vanpool drivers do not provide change.)
Rates: $25.00 round trip 1-15 miles / $30.00 round trip 16-25 miles / $35.00 round trip 26-35 / $40.00 round trip 36-40.

*Reduced rates are available for low-income residents and are approved by the Human Services Department x117.
We use PACE trained volunteer drivers. Drivers do receive a stipend and it is unnecessary to tip, nor is it expected.
