Trustee Shackel was appointed to the Lemont Township Board in January 2020. Trustee Shackel served on the Lemont High School Board for 10 years, including 4 years as President. Trustee Shackel is also the elected Republican Committeeman of Lemont Township, as well as past President of Lemont Chamber and current President of Heritage Corridor Business Alliance. When not serving the Community, Trustee Shackel has worked in the Lemont Community for 21 years as a financial advisor.
